raganova

jan ragan*1981-founder of this netlabel- is coming from beautiful historical town called bardejov (unesco 1990) located in the north-east of the slovakia -country where traditions and political situation have strong influence to all aspects of his cultural living and musical career. raganova is not musically educated,but all feelings for music and sense of rhythm comes after his grandfather probably,who was a squeeze box player. his fusion with electronic music began in early nineties via mtv and slovak & german radioshows.few years later he feels fancy to perform dance music as a dj. but the most important influence to his musical development has got an internet access and all music coming for free from mixpages and netlabels. during that time he summon up courage to imitate some music coming from that sources using a software sequencer. he takes house as music,where he can display most of all feelings applying deep,minimal and techno influences. night drive music has released his first net-lp in april 2005. in 2006 he bought domain sologroove.com, for placing his musical productions. influenced by netlabel philosophy,he is in the search for slovakian dance music makers. hereby is based first official slovakian netlabel and jan is devoted to releasing/promoting eps. since april 2007 is raganova a member of the leporelo booking crew.in summer 2007 has jan performed almost every weekend in slovakian festivals or clubs, live or as a dj..

aleks svaensson

(1977) dj and producer from banska bystrica, central region of slovakia. producing since 1993, he co-worked on various projects including zoolex, one of the first electronic music project in central slovakia. since 1997 he is known as aleks svaensson. he has released 3 promo eps, and his tracks have featured on various compilations like czechoslovak sound vol.3, deadred to bed, one step behind the sound 3, algida chillout vol.3 and on matrix revisited dvd.

peter kir aka kiro from bratislava has realized his dj potential in many bratislava clubs, coctail & chillout bars, festivals and private parties since 1996 with cd players in the beginning ,later with 1210 mk2's. he prefers deephouse and vocal funky house.his debut with some techno tracks is on 5 year anniversary bee free promotional cd in 2003,in few local and net radios as well. together with the rest of the amenity crew he performs nowadays in clubs called radost and channels, where he spend 3 years as a resident dj. his fauvorite labels are:purple music, defected, vendetta, houseworks, doubledown, tango, detour and robsoul.

alexey sharikhin aka daclip from moscow was born in 1983,making music for incredible 8 years, using bunch of sw and hw,playing live on guitar, keys and congas. alexey runs his own business with software development, web & art design, keeping up saxophone lessons. he use to perform live and as a dj in moscow clubs like zimny sad, lubyansky, joomajie, parisk and kand cafe,playing minimal/deep techno, deep/tech house, lounge/downtempo,simply - stuff from kompakt & logistic records. mono ep is daclip's debut,however track "z-cluster" has been previously remixed,and released at slavic records (available at beatport) mr.sharikhin wishes to release an lp in near future.

dnc aka dinyl

markus niemczyk aka dnc started to produce electronic music many years ago, when he purchased 16-bit amiga computer equipped with protracker software, which is working as a sampler. later he started to work in radio ragtime and remixed bands like polemic, hex, free faces and continues remixing, the last remix for monoide has been released on net-label stadtgruen. in his own words he divides his work into pure software tracks and pure hardware tracks – both can be defined as a mixture of minimal-techno, house and electro. he is a member of dj-booking leporelo and is responsible for the rhythmical section of underground cult-band bkz rockers.

baltazar was born in 70´s in skalica, western slovakia.after listening to pop, hip hop, garage and lightly commercial dance and techno music he has discovered strictly techno music at legendary u-club_todays subclub under the castle rock in bratislava.after that, he has definitelly decided to be a dj.baltazar have played in many slovak clubs and parties (with swayzak and john tejada too) and also in czech republic.thesedays is baltazar busy with carco carriage,but all free time is dedicating to the software music production."i have many plans for the future, but i'll keep them for myself.not many words are needed-just l i s t e n to the music".

tomas (1981) is a fresh graduate of software engineering at slovak university of technology, coming from bratislava.tomo came through 90's era listening acid house,techno,trance,rave and hardcore,later he spinned at boomerang-legendary slovak tech-house event and u club-todays subclub.in 1997 he started to compose his own tracks using software trackers and sequencers.tomo's todays passion are ableton live and other hardware equipment.tomo's production is somewhere between electro variations of minimal,house,techno and available at beatport and foem netlabel.

...aka tetsuo is an emerging dj and producer who has been playing the decks for the past ten years. member of leporelo dj booking since 2004 and also gained significant experience as a promoter with a residential gig datarhythm and others.creation of his own music increased in the meanitme.his production is divided into typical hardware stuff with specific sound and software on the other hand which smoothly fills up the hardware section. craquetone is inspired by various scale of different music, his specific sound lies between electronics and minimalism with an applicable portion of futuristic melodic samples and expressive energy.craquetone's aim is to perform intelligent electronic music experimentally in an original new form and shape.

dusan (not pictured),julo and tlama is the middle-north slovak project established in year 2000. guys are deejaying many years,playing live instruments,working in radio and producing music in professional studio with latest audio equipment,enriched with 80's synths. track 03 and 04 from slgrv_19 are rereleased from djt's prior lp,which was presented personally by tlama at wmc 2008 in miami.next djt's releases will follow on various slovak net labels.
